Jerry Bessels to celebrate 40th years ago
Jerry and Barbara Bessel will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Mentor Methodist church in Mentor.
Jerry Bessel and Barbara Helmer were married Dec. 6, 1964, in the Marion Evangelical United Brethren Church in Marion.
They spent most of their married life in Assaria.
They have two daughters, Wendy Holtz and husband, Jo, of Assaria, and Marci Finck and husband, Aaron, of Marco Island, Fla. They also have two grandchildren.
