Jimmie Modean Richmond
Jimmie Modean Richmond, 68, Newton, died May 8, 2002, at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 6, 1933, at Newark, Ark., the daughter of Charlie and Edith (Fields) Prince.
She was married to Ray Richmond of Marion in 1981. He survives at Marion. Other survivors include her son, Brad Barnes, of Grand Junction, Colo.; brother, Carl Fields of South Carolina; sisters Natalie Fields of California, Charlene Kimbel of Wellington, and Geraldine Moss of Michigan; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by sons Charles Barnes and Robert Barnes.
Services were held Saturday morning at Petersen Funeral Home Newton with private burial.
