John Waners to celebrate 50th anniversary years ago
John and Rosie Waner of Alba, Texas, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with a family celebration.
John Waner and Rosie Holub were married Sept. 10, 1957, at Marion. They are former residents of Olathe.
He retired from Mobil Oil and she worked for the Johnson County Sheriff's office and Olathe school district in the 1970s and '80s.
Their children are Becky Nunez, Ken and Laura Waner, and Kristie and Marv Cowan, all of Olathe. They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
