K-9 dog finds drugs

An individual, acting very nervous at Ampride, left the parking lot and failed to use the left turn signal at 7:46 p.m. July 8. Sgt. Jeff Soyez stopped the driver at N. Freeborn and Main. The driver denied consent to search vehicle. A K-9 was used to sniff outer portion of vehicle which resulted in finding methamphetamines, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Pushing and grabbing occurred between an individual and a victim during a custody dispute at 5:15 p.m. July 4 at 509 Main St., Tampa, reports Deputy Mike Vineski.

Individuals damaged two picnic tables at the city park in Ramona sometime between 6 p.m. July 1 and 3 p.m. July 3, reports Deputy Vineski. Damage to tables is valued at $250.

An individual entered an unlocked barn at 377 130th, Newton, sometime between 3:30 p.m. May 24 and 8:45 p.m. July 6. A 12-gauge shotgun and shells were removed from an unlocked gun cabinet, reports Deputy Rollin Schmidt. Value of the Ithica Model 37 shotgun is $350.

Two individuals walked around Main St. in Florence between 3:30 and 3:59 a.m. July 4 drinking beer and damaging property. The property, owned by the American Legion, is valued at $1,100, reports Deputy Vineski. As the deputy was questioning them at the home, a female engaged in disorderly conduct.
