Kasube, Slattery engaged
Mike and Terry Slattery of Marion announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Kevin Michael Slattery, to Emilie DorAnn Kasube, daughter of Dr. Herb and DorAnn Kasube of Peoria, Ill.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind., with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa honorary society and Delta Gamma sorority. She teaches math at Winnetonka High School in North Kansas City, Mo.
Her fiancé graduated in 1999 from Benedictine College, Atchison, with a double major in math and computer science. He is a software engineer for Cerner Corporation in Kansas City.
The wedding will be June 29 at Park Hill Christian Church in North Kansas City.
