KDOT open house is Tuesday to discuss roundabout
Kansas Department of Transportation will host a public information open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Marion County Special Education Cooperative gymnasium, 608 Dean Street, Florence.
The meeting is an opportunity to discuss the proposed roundabout for the U.S.-50/77 intersection at Florence. The concept presented at the meeting will depict the potential roundabout at the intersection. The exact final location and right of way needs for the improvements have not been determined.
The open house is informal and the public is invited to come at their convenience anytime between 5 and 7.
A public officials' meeting will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Marion County Special Education Cooperative office, 302 W. 8th, Florence.
