Klenda, Garrard lead Centre at Inman Invitational

Centre track teams met up with the stiffest competition of the year May 5 at Inman. The boys placed fifth out of 11 teams. The girls placed ninth.

Justin Garrard took second place in the 3200- and 1600-meter runs, with times of 10:48 and 4:54.75, respectively. Laura Klenda was second in javelin with a throw of 119'9".

The invitational was the last regular meet of the year. The two teams will compete Friday in the Eisenhower League tournament at Bennington.
