Klenda receives national degree
Jackie Klenda received the American Degree Oct. 27 at the 80th National FFA Convention at Indianapolis, Ind.
The American Degree is the highest degree awarded by the National FFA Organization and recognizes Klenda's demonstrated leadership abilities and outstanding achievements in agricultural business, production, processing, and service programs.
Less than one in 156 FFA members advance through their local chapter and state FFA degree programs to earn this national degree.
Klenda is the daughter of Val and Julie Klenda of Lincolnville and currently is majoring in agricultural education at Kansas State University, Manhattan. She is a member of the Centre FFA chapter.
She received a gold American Degree key and certificate.
