Lady Wildcats fall to Independent
Marion Middle School volleyball team fell Thursday to Wichita Independent.
The A team lost 11-15, 2-16. The C-1 and C-2 teams also lost, by the scores of 8-15, 2-5 and 9-11, 8-13 respectively.
The B team competed Saturday in a tournament at Independent. They finished third out of eight teams. They beat Hutchinson 15-8, 15-1; Andale 15-10, 15-5; lost to Chase County 4-15, 7-15; to Independent 15-13, 14-16, 14-16; and beat Chase County for third, 15-8, 15-5.
