Larry Jost
Larry C. Jost, 85, died Jan. 21, 2005, at Hillsboro.
Born Sept. 28, 1919, at McPherson, he was the son of George and Elizabeth (Schroeder) Jost.
On Aug. 14, 1940, he married Linda Heinze at Hillsboro. She died in 1996.
He was a farmer/stockman and member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Melvin Enns of Kingsburg, Calif., Connie and Gene Schimpf of Black Mountain, N.C., and Lucinda and Willis Wohlgemuth of Claremore, Okla.; three brothers, Marvin Jost of Hillsboro, LeRoy Jost of Henderson, Neb., and Dean Jost of Aurora, Neb.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Dave Plett officiating.
Burial was in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Tabor College or Hillsboro MB Church building fund.
