Lauer-Myers engagement announced
Christine Laue and Chris Myers of Omaha, Neb., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Laue is the daughter of Harvey and Betty Sanders of Marion. Myers is the son of Bob and Pat Myers of Wisner, Neb.
The bride-elect is a 1990 graduate of Marion High School and a 1994 graduate of the University of Kansas, where she earned a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is the pop culture reporter at the Omaha World-Herald in Omaha, Neb.
Myers is a 1992 graduate of Wisner-Pilger High School and a 1996 graduate of Quincy University in Quincy, Ill., where he earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast communication. He is a chef's apprentice at the Doubletree Hotel Omaha Downtown and currently is enrolled in the culinary arts program at Metropolitan Community College, Omaha.
The couple plans to be married Jan. 24, 2004, in Omaha. Receptions will be held in March in Marion and Wisner.
The couple will live in Omaha.
