Leppke wins 11th and 31st at nationals years ago
Marion's Ben Leppke finished 11th and 31st in the triple and long jump in the 14-year-old division at the United States of America Track and Field championship July 29-August 3 at Tropical Park Stadium in Miami, Fla.
Leppke jumped 37'10" to capture 11th place in the boys triple jump and 15'4 3/4" in the long jump to place 31st.
The triple jump winner sailed 42'8", while the long jump winner went 21'6" in the 14-year-old division.
