Great weekend
To the Editor:
Marion National Bank staff would like to commend the quick responses and decisions made by the Chingawassa committee, allowing the festivities to "flow" through the weekend without sinking. No amount of rain will keep our community from having a good time!
It is amazing what people can do when they work together for a common goal. The Chingawassa committee, City of Marion, Marion school district, and countless businesses plus volunteers created the best celebration this past weekend that our community has ever experienced.
We would like to thank Superintendent Lee Leiker and USD #408 for allowing Marion National Bank to use the school facilities to host our annual barbecue. The bank served nearly 1,200 meals Friday evening.
It is celebrations like Chingawassa Days that remind all of us why Marion is such a wonderful place to live and work.
