LETTERS: Defending the mayor
To the Editor:
I want to write this letter in behalf of our mayor, Eloise Mueller, who is trying to do the best for all people, even those who oppose her. We have had two other mayors before her, who supported the issue of a landfill.
Because the landfill would be a benefit for the city and our community, I feel that it should continue to be pursued. It has been proven by some other communities that the landfills that are permitted to be established are safe and monitored.
Please think about how much the landfill would benefit all of us, and back our mayor in her efforts to work for the good of all concerned.
