LETTERS: Sharing opinions
To the Editor:
I want to tell you about my feelings about this town. and you.
For starters you have been doing the paper for portions of seven decades, you can't go on forever, retire and enjoy the days, years remaining in your life.
Lets face it you have a bad case of Burnout, (in a rut), it can happen after over 40+ doing same thing day after day, year after year.
I was at the March, 6th city commissioners meeting which you also attended, you was there but you wasn't. The group was joking at times, as I looked at you your face it never changed, no smile no nothing, could it be you was waiting to hear the Mayor say what you wanted to hear, or planning your next negative editorial.
I realize if someone says it is white and I say it is black this can take up paper space, also have more subjects to fill those spaces.
Bill, you have found a fault in 95 percent of any and everything that has happen in this town for 20 years. and it did fill those paper spaces.
I had rather have two pages of positive reporting then ten pagers of negative comments,. like you said, Evidently out of Step, and to think we have had to put up with these negative reports and comments for 20 years.
I wonder how far this town has been held or set back by all this no its black not white. it sure didn't pull us together as a group.
Time is wasting, think about where and what place your going to see next, (not the next negative report), you have done your time, from now on its my and our (Wife's) time. And I think you owe it to Marion, if and when you retire, as you walk out the door, turn around and say, guys make this a peoples paper, think POSITIVE. Have a good Day.
