LETTERS: Warriors say thanks
To the Editor:
This is an open letter of thanks to the many supporters of Marion High School who have volunteered to help the Warriors in recent weeks.
In the past month Marion has hosted the Class 3A State Powerlifting meet and six track meets held at Warrior Stadium. These events have all been hosted in a professional and efficient manner, and we could not have done it without the help of the great people who volunteered their time and effort.
We have heard nothing but compliments about our facilities and about the friendly manner of the people who have helped at these events. People from across the state now look forward to coming to Marion because they see the great things we have going in our schools and the great support we have from our community.
As coaches and athletes of Marion High School, we would just like to say, "Thank You," to all who have helped us in the past month. Your support of our programs and what we do fuels us in our drive to be the best in the state.
