Letters: Who will manage it?
To the Editor:
I agree that Marion County needs a new jail. What concerns me the most is who is going to run and manage the new jail?
The roads around Tampa are less than desirable — more like an embarrassment to the local taxpayer.
Are the Marion County Commissioners and the Marion County road foreman proud of these roads? What do maintainer operators think when they attempt to blade these blacktop roads? What is the goal and the objective? I don't know.
If we can't manage something as simple as these roads, how are we going to manage the new jail?
