Lewis Smiths observe anniversary
Lewis and Anna Smith will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 with refreshments at Hillsboro Community Medical Center Long Term Care Unit, Hillsboro.
The couple was married Oct. 27, 1939, in Lehigh. He retired from REA Express Agency and she retired from KG&E, Wichita.
Children of the couple are Bob and Bonnie Swartzendruber of Plano, Texas, and Georgia Smith of Hutchinson.
Grandchildren are Richard and Shery Swartzendruber of Dodd City, Texas, and Rob and LeeAnn Swartzendruber of Plano, Texas. They also have four great-grandchildren.
