Library plans movie morning
Popcorn and a movie will be provided at 10 a.m. June 24 at Marion City Library, 100 Library Street.
According to librarian Janet Marler, the movie is about an adorable candy-loving dog on a mission to save the world.
"He and pals Brian, the bashful snail, Emintrude, an opera-singing cow, and Dylan, a guitar-playing rabbit, turn into unlikely heroes as they embark on an epic adventure to keep the evil Xeebad from freezing the earth forever," said Marler. "Along the way, they learn that the most powerful weapon of all is their friendship."
The movie is 77 minutes and rated G. Everyone is welcome to attend. Children seven and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring pillows because seating will be on the floor.
