Lois Lindholm

Lois G. Lindholm, 75, died March 13, 2004, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

Born Nov. 14, 1928, at Walton, she was the daughter of Samuel and Justine Schmidt.

She graduated from Peabody High School and Salt City Business College, Hutchinson.

She worked for the Marion Record until she married Leonard Lindholm on Oct. 5, 1953, at Walton Mennonite Church, Walton.

She was a member of Cheney First United Methodist Church and involved in UMW. She also was involved in Kingman County Farm Bureau, extension, and 4-H clubs.

She was preceded in death by a son, Marc Lindholm.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard of Cheney; a son, Len Lindholm of Windsor, Colo.; two daughters, Kathy Cillessen of Mulvane and Cinda Kugler of Overland Park; two sisters, Nora Richter of Marion and Lila Richter of Peabody; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Cheney, with the Rev. Dr. Kenton Van officiating.

Burial will be in Vinita Tonwship Cemetery.

Memorials have been established with Cheney First United Methodist Church or the Wegener's Granulamatosis Association.
