Larry Rudolph attended the Tampa co-op dinner and meeting March 10 at Tampa Senior Center.
My children and grandchildren brought in dinner March 10 to celebrate my 92nd birthday. Those attending were Douglas and Marsha Strecker, Matthew and Sonja Strecker, Yancy and Julie Strecker and Gabriel, and Clark Strecker. The chocolate birthday cake was made by Marsha. I opened the gifts. The men did some work for me and it was a beautiful day.
Alex and Jean Stuchlik attended the breakfast and parish charity auction March 11 at Pilsen.
Neil and Jolene Albrecht hosted a birthday party for their two daughters, Kallie and Morgan, Saturday afternoon. They played games, ate supper, opened their gifts, and cake and ice cream was served. Guests were Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu, Fred and Marguerite Utech, Jayson and Jan Hanschu, Jakob, Jorge, and Jaxxon, Jennifer Braden and Joshua, B. Albrecht, and other friends and relatives.
I was sorry to hear Jane Miller died March 10. Services were held Wednesday afternoon at Lost Springs Cemetery.
Larry Rudolph visited with me Sunday afternoon. Wayne and Marietta Schwartzman of Park City were Sunday evening visitors.
Alex Stuchlik told me he had a cataract taken off his right eye in Hutchinson last week. He has to wear a patch on the eye for several days.
Frances Stuchlik served dinner for Kenny and Melinda Stuchlik and Matthew. That evening, they went to Herington to attend services at St. John Catholic Church. Later they ate supper at Al's Café in Lost Springs.
Alex Stuchlik and Gary Stuchlik went to the Tampa co-op dinner and meeting at the Tampa Senior Center. Others who attended were Monty Stuchlik, Ronnie Hajek, Darren and Trent, and Mervin Deines.
Selma Ingram and a friend, Joyce, accompanied Adella Katz to Elmo Monday evening to get Selma's car at the home of Lawrence and Helen Ambreys. Lawrence had fixed a dent on the back door of her car.
John and Helen Reznicek picked up Irma Reznicek March 11 and took her to Pilsen for church services. After Mass, John and Helen, Irma, Bob and Carol Makovec, and Bob Reznicek attended the Catholic workmen breakfast and PSR charity auction in the basement.
Gilbert Smith visited Larry Rudolph Monday evening.
Frances Stuchlik hosted a birthday lasagna dinner in honor of Monty Stuchlik's birthday Sunday. Guests were Monty and Sarah, Dan and Melissa Stuchlik, Tanner and Allie, Ross and Megan Stuchlik, Mike and Candice Toade, and Larry Stuchlik. They had a birthday cake and ice cream. After dinner they watched a movie.
Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu went to the Tampa co-op dinner Saturday at the Tampa Senior Center. After dinner Jeanetta went home with her folks, Fred and Marguerite Utech, and Junior stayed for the meeting.
I planted some of my garden Tuesday afternoon. I planted potatoes, onions, lettuce, and radishes. The grass and wheat is really growing. My daffodils are in bloom.
Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu went to the Centre FFA supper and auction Thursday evening.
Betty Stenzel accompanied her son, Gregory Stenzel to White City Tuesday night for the mixed band concert. Nikki Stenzel and James Weber played in the CHS band.

Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu attended the open house Saturday for Tony Meyer's 95th birthday at the parish hall in Ramona.
Fred and Marguerite Utech and Edna Mueller accompanied Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu to Dolores Siggs' at Goddard Sunday. They joined other family members there to visit with Grace and Bell Raven of Marietta, Ga.
Hallie Novak hosted the Lost Springs American Legion auxiliary meeting and lunch March 5. We held the opening ceremony, followed by the minutes and treasurer's report.
Dollye Novak reported she heard from one of our members, Delores Henke of Emporia. Hallie and Dollye reported we received a thank-you note from Spc. Simon Makovec for the large spotlight.
Evelyn Strecker, president, heard from Marlene Friesenthal, representative of Colmery O'Neal VA Hospital for Christmas gifts and money for veterans and families. Strecker read communications and they were discussed. We decided to mail 100 disposable bibs and cookies to Colmery O'Neil VA Hospital, Topeka. She announced the Fourth District convention is April 28 in Junction City. Dollye Novak closed the meeting with prayer.
Selma Ingram accompanied Evelyn Strecker to Herington Tuesday and Marion Wednesday.
Don and Ramona Beisel visited her mother, Frances Stuchlik on Saturday.
Randy Stuchlik, son Andrew (who is home from the Navy on leave), Julie, Jacob, and Gina of Abilene, and Gina's fiancé, Matt Langston of Talmadge, visited Frances Stuchlik Sunday afternoon. Gina and Matt are getting married March 17 at his folks' home.
Megan Stuchlik of Tampa hosted a birthday party Sunday night for her husband, Ross. Guests were Monty and Sarah Stuchlik, Frances Stuchlik, George and Dawn Luna and Allysa, Dan and Melissa Stuchlik, Tanner and Allie, Cora Rogers, and Mike and Candee Toade.
Brett Hajek of Newton and Darren and Trent Hajek of Salina visited their parents, Ronnie and Leona Hajek and grandmother, Mildred Hajek, over the weekend.
Frances Stuchlik drove north of Lehigh March 5 to visit with Larry and Susan Stuchlik. Larry fell off a ladder and broke a bone in his right wrist. Susan, who is a nurse, is taking good care of him.
