Mervin Deines said he didn't have news. They were going out to fix a fence so they can get the cattle out into the pastures. The fruit trees and tulips are in bloom. Everything looks so nice and green. I heard a report we are to have a freeze April 24. Hope it will not happen.

My friend and 1933 classmate, Violet Delgado of Utah called Saturday afternoon to wish me a belated happy birthday and reminisce as to what both of us are doing at our slow pace. She said weather was beautiful in Utah. I told her I had just planted 33 seeds of potatoes.
