Junior and Jeannetta Hanschu went to the Cow Camp Ranch sale Nov. 19. After dinner, Junior stayed for the sale.

Danny Stuchlik of rural Marion and Ross Stuchlik of Tampa visited Frances Stuchlik Nov. 18.

Carol Makovec visited her mother, Irma Reznicek Nov. 18. They had coffee together.

Laura Drebot of Rose Hill and Hallie Novak visited me Nov. 10. Hallie picked up my gifts for the veterans of Colmery O'Neil VA Hospital, Topeka.

Alex and Jean Stuchlik attended Bill Meyer's funeral Nov. 17 at Valley United Methodist Church, Marion.

Adella Katz hosted a birthday celebration Nov. 19 for her son, Steve. Guests were Selma Ingram, Larry and Connie Jenkins, Oaklan and Tia, Charles and Lori Smithhart of Hillsboro, and Dane Miller of Burdick.

Larry Rudolph visited me Sunday evening after he fend the cattle.

Alex and Jean Stuchlik helped Walter Dietrich of Tampa celebrate his birthday Nov. 17. Other guests for supper were relatives and friends.

Irma Reznicek and Bob were Nov. 19 dinner guests of Bob and Carol Makovec. After dinner, Irma visited Bob and Carol while Bob did some of his work.

We are thankful for the beautiful days. I can still hear some birds chirping. My children, Douglas and Marsha Strecker of Hesston said they plan to entertain their Thanksgiving Day guests on their patio. It's a nice time to grill outside.

Junior Hanschu picked up his father-in-law, Fred Utech Nov. 20 and they attended the Farm-City steak feed at Marion.

Father Dick Stuchlik of Wichita called on Frances Stuchlik Nov. 20. He brought fried chicken for dinner. She made all the good food that goes with it.

Douglas Strecker of Hesston and Jerry Pepperlink of Buhler came Nov. 21. Jerry came to get some mulberry wood for his stove. Douglas stayed for dinner and sawed some small trees along the fence on the west side of the pasture.

Bob Reznicek accompanied Bob Makovec to the Farm-City steak feed at Marion Nov. 20. This supper is sponsored by Marion Chamber of Commerce and local businesses. While the men were in Marion, Carol Makovec visited with her mother, Irma Reznicek.

Laura Drebot called me Nov. 17 and asked me to meet her. She, as a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad, was setting on the side track near Lost Springs heading south, waiting for two trains to go through coming from the south.

Monty and Sarah Stuchlik and Ross Stuchlik of Tampa visited Frances Stuchlik and her guest, Father Dick of Wichita, Nov. 20.

Selma Ingram visited me Tuesday morning. She brought Girl Scout candies Laura and I bought from Oaklan and Tia Jenkins.

I just heard from my nephew, Francis Leon and Clara Krch. They just moved back to Phoenix, Ariz., after spending the summer in Telluride, Colo. They are having Thanksgiving with their son, Dr. Ryan Krch of Phoenix, Ariz. Their son, Eric and Pam Krch of Telluride, Colo., plan to have Christmas with Francis and Clara.
