Fred and Marguerite Utech hosted a Thanksgiving dinner Saturday at their home. Guests were Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu, Jayson, Jan, Jakob, Jorge, and Jaxxon Hanschu of Hillsboro, Jeff, Jennifer, and Joshua Braden of Windom, Neil, Jolene, Kallie, and Morgan Albrecht of Salina, Garland, Dianna, Amy, Lance, and Alexandria Utech and friend of Amsterdam, Mo., Sally Utech and friends of Lawrence, and Marlon and Jill Utech of Memphis, Tenn. Overnight guests of Junior and Jeanetta on Saturday were Mar and Jill Utech, the Braden family, and the Albrecht family.

Ray and Connie Hastings of El Dorado hosted a Thanksgiving Day dinner. Guests were Mike and Karen Walsh and Renee, Larry Rudolph, Mary Black, Micky and Lance of Herington, Shane and Jennifer McElroy and children of Goddard, Mr. and Mrs. David Hastings and family of El Dorado, and Chad and Mindy Grow of Andover. They celebrated Renee's 21st birthday.

Pamela Bevan of Spring Hill drove to the home of her parents, Bob and Betty Bevan Tuesday. The next day, Bob, Betty, and Pamela went to Fort Worth, Texas, to spend the weekend with Todd Bevan. Betty said Todd cooked up a delicious Thanksgiving Day dinner.

Larry Stuchlik of Lehigh picked up his mom, Frances Stuchlik Thanksgiving Day and they went to Abilene to have Thanksgiving with Randy and Karen Stuchlik and family.

Irma Reznicek and Bob joined other families and friends to have Thanksgiving dinner at the Herington home of Randy and Colleen Klug and family.

So sorry to hear of the death of Flo (Zeiner) Martin of Herington.

Ruby Scharping and Jeff Scharping, Andrew and Bob of Wichita spent Thursday and Friday with Frances Stuchlik. Jeff and the boys tore down an old shed for Frances.

Paul and Ralene Hajek drove to Glenn Elder to have Thanksgiving Day dinner with her sister, Kim Nicholson and family. Other guests were Jason and Carla Hajek and Cooper and Melvin and Pam Buxman of Newton. Jason, Carla, and Cooper went home with Paul and Raelene and visited them till Saturday.

Lynette McLean, Cade, Maggie, and Josie of Goodland visited Paul and Ralene Hajek Thursday through Sunday.

Adella Katz hosted a Thanksgiving Day supper. Guests were Larry and Connie Jenkins, Oaklan and Tia, Steve Katz, Charles and Lori Smithhart of Hillsboro, Brian Nda and Barbie of Lawrence, and Selma Ingram.

Irma Reznicek visited Bob and Carol Makovec Friday afternoon and evening.

Ronnie and Leona Hajek, Brett Hajek and Jenifer Mellies of Newton, and Darren and Trent Hajek of Salina were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Richmond, Newton.

Frances Stuchlik hosted a post-Thanksgiving dinner Sunday at her home. Guests were Monty and Sarah Stuchlik, Dan and Melissa Stuchlik, Tanner and Allie, rural Marion; Ross and Megan Stuchlik, Tampa; Ruby Scharping, Jeff and Julie Scharping, Lizzie, Andrew, and Bob, Brian and Jan Scharping, Heather, Megan, Nicholas, and Eric, Wichita; Kenny and Melinda Stuchlik, Towanda; Jason Stuchlik, Manhattan; Tom Stuchlik, Barryton. Ruby Scharping, Megan and Eric were Saturday overnight guests and they put up Grandma's Christmas tree and decorations.

Jerome Hajek of Marion took his mother, Mildred Hajek to Miami, Okla., Tuesday to visit and have Thanksgiving Day with her daughter, Irene and Gene Waylan and family. Ronnie and Leona Hajek got her Sunday.

Larry Rudolph visited with Evelyn Strecker Friday. I spent Thanksgiving Day putting up my Christmas tree and decorations.

Gary and JoAnn Stuchlik and family entertained with a dinner Thanksgiving Day. Guests were Alex and Jean Stuchlik, Christopher and Melissa Stuchlik and sons of Tampa, Robert and Debbie Burns and family and Kelby and Rita Schawe, of Wichita, and Tom and Diann Ensz and family of Keller, Texas.

Clark Strecker and Laura Drebot hosted a post-Thanksgiving dinner Saturday at their Rose Hill home. Guests were Ann Drebot of Omaha, Neb., Dawn Drebot of Iowa, Austin and Tailor Strecker of Wichita, Yancy and Julie Strecker and Gabriel of Newton, Sonja Strecker, Douglas and Marsha Strecker and Matthew of Hesston, and Evelyn Strecker of Lost Springs. It was dark before we left so we got to see Clark and Laura's Christmas lights and the lights in Rose Hill, Andover, and Marion.

Alex and Jean Stuchlik went Sunday to Wichita to attend George and Genevieve Steiner's 65th wedding anniversary celebration at St. Thomas Aquinas Church parish hall.

Carol Makovec visited her mother, Irma Reznicek Saturday morning.

Oaklan and Tia Jenkins spent Saturday night with Selma Ingram.

Charles and Mary Loewen of Hillsboro hosted a post-Thanksgiving dinner Sunday. Guests were John and Helen Reznicek, Carol Makovec, Darren and Amy Makovec, Ellie and Shelby, Randy and Colleen Klug, Alison and Nicole, Mark Makovec, Chanell and Hunter, Jennifer Makovec, Tom and Janet Reznicek, Kenny and Debbie Reznicek, Nicholas and Nathan, Sara Reznicek, Kory Reznicek, John and Lori Torline, Megan, Carolyn, and Matthew, and Irma and Bob Reznicek.

Bill and Dollye Novak hosted a Thanksgiving Day dinner. Guests were Nancy Nied and friend of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Jim and Tena Novak, Christa and Travis of Tampa. Nancy and her friend were guests of Bill and Dollye from Thursday to Saturday.
