Lost Springs: Hajeks entertain visitors from Goodland

Cade and Maggie McLean of Goodland came to spend the weekend with Paul and Raelene Hajek. Raelene's niece, Jordan Nicolson of Glen Elder also spent the week with the Paul Hajeks. Lynette McLean and daughter, Josie came June 9 and all of them went to Wichita to attend a bridal shower in honor of Stephanie Hajek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hajek, at the home of Kelli Kerschen.
Connie Hastings of El Dorado picked up Larry Rudolph June 13 and they went to Anne Reznicek Steiner's funeral at St. John Nep. Church, Pilsen, and the burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampa. In the afternoon they attended Larry Albright's funeral at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion. He was buried at Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.
Irma Benda of rural Pilsen helped serve the lunch after Anne Steiner's funeral.
Larry Rudolph checked the battery of my electric fence June 16. Then he showed me how he hurt his leg slipping off the tractor. A gash below his knee and then it was black below his knee to his ankle.
Guests of Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu June 16-18 were Jayson and Jan Hanschu, Jakob, Jorge, and Jaxxon of Hillsboro, Jeff and Jennifer Braden and Joshua of Windom, and Neil and Jolene Albrecht, Kallie and Morgan of Salina. They celebrated Father's Day. They went fishing Saturday evening and Sunday evening.
Alex Stuchlik said he had no news, just harvesting. His combine broke down so son Gary came to his rescue with his combine.
Junior Hanschu said he finished combining June 16.
John Reznicek of rural Marion helped his brother, Bob with wheat harvest after work in Hillsboro this past week.
Frances Stuchlik's company June 18 were Monty and Sarah Stuchlik and Kenny and Melinda Stuchlik and Alecia of Towanda.
I was at the doctor June 21. I broke out with a rash from a toxic flower plant west of my house Monday.
