Charles and Lori Smithhart of Hillsboro ate supper Saturday with Adele and Steve Katz.

Our sympathy goes to the family of Lou Vinduska, who died Thursday. His funeral Mass was Monday at the Pilsen church.

Carol Makovec took Bob and Irma Reznicek to the Rosary for Lou Vinduska Sunday night at the Pilsen church.

Alex and Jean Stuchlik drove to Wichita Sunday to attend the first communion of their granddaughter, Terese Burns, at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church. Terese is the daughter of Robert and Debbie Burns, Wichita.

Douglas Strecker of Hesston and I met in Marion Monday afternoon to take care of some business. We ate supper at The Big Scoop, then drove to my place. He did some work while here — fixed fence and fertilized my garden.

Francis and Mildred Hajek attended Lou Vinduska's funeral Monday morning. Others attending from this area were Alex Stuchlik and Larry Rudolph.

Bob Reznicek attended the Tri-County Telephone meeting a week ago Monday at the Herington Community Building.

Frances Stuchlik accompanied Monty and Sarah Stuchlik and Ross to the Rosary for Lou Vinduska Sunday evening. Bill and Dollye Novak also attended.

Micky Black of Herington and some friends visited Larry Rudolph Saturday afternoon.

Lost Springs American Legion Auxiliary met Friday afternoon at the home of Dollye Novak. The next meeting will be at the home of Hallie Novak.

Mark and Roberta Stuchlik and Jodi of Edmond, Okla., spent the weekend with Frances Stuchlik.

Charles and Lori Smithhart spent Saturday evening with Selma Ingram and watched the KU-Arizona basketball game.

Don and Ramona Beisel of Tampa visited Saturday afternoon with Frances Stuchlik and her guests, the Mark Stuchliks. They attended church together, then ate supper at Al's Café.

Oaklan and Tia Jenkins stayed overnight Saturday with their grandmother, Selma Ingram.

Larry Rudolph visited me Sunday afternoon and, in the evening, called on his sister and family, Karen and Mike Walsh and Renee.

Dan and Melissa Stuchlik of Wichita stopped for a while Sunday morning to visit his grandmother, Frances Stuchlik.

Leona Deines told me she was doing some painting and washing curtains. She also told me the Trinity Lutheran Fellowship Club met Sunday night. Those who attended were Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu, Lauren and Orvell Brunner, Erich Utech, Trevia Schneider, and Mervin and Leona Deines. They had a meeting, played cards, and had something to eat.

Joshua Braden of Windom spent from Friday night to Saturday night with Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu. His mother, Jennifer Braden, picked him up and they returned home after supper Saturday evening.

Neil and Jolene Albrecht and Kallie of Salina were Friday overnight guests of Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu.

Jayson Hanschu, Jakob and Jorge of Hillsboro visited Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu Saturday afternoon and were their supper guests.
