Manor residents play baseball
Another week has come and gone and it won't be long until the Fourth is here!
We had our usual fun and games all week long.
We went outside Monday and played baseball. We have some pretty good "sluggers" here at the home. We also sang the song, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday were Bingo days. Bill Schimpf called on Wednesday.
Rosary was recited this week with Pat Smith leading the group.
We baked muffins on Tuesday. They were done in time for a treat after Bible study. We also had root beer floats to celebrate Stewarts National Root Beer Day.
On Wednesday, a small group of us went to the senior center for lunch and a program. The food was great and so was the entertainment.
Thursday was real busy. We had a Garfield birthday party, along with our regular monthly party. We had three residents celebrating this month. Garfield also was present for the occasion. We played Pin the Tail on Garfield and ate cake baked by one of our CNAs. A really good time was had by all.
Lois was here Thursday to sing and Anita came on Monday to play and sing. The residents enjoy having someone come to sing and play.
