Marcia Schroeder
Marcia Ann Schroeder, 48, Hillsboro, died June 1, 2002, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
The daughter of Evelyn (Franzen) Koop of Hillsboro and the late Harrison Koop, she was born Jan. 11, 1954, at Hillsboro.
She was employed as an assistant in accounting at Tabor College.
On March 17, 1973, she was married to Vincent L. Schroeder at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Others who preceded her in death include her late brother, David Koop.
Survivors include her mother. Hillsboro; husband, Vincent Schroeder, Hillsboro; son, Jason Schroeder, Hillsboro; daughter, Misty Hett, Marion; sisters, Judy Klein, Hillsboro, and Connie Freeborn of Florence; and two grandchildren.
She was a member of Goessel Mennonite Brethren Church where services were held today, Wednesday, with Pastor Kevin Goertzen officiating.
Burial was in Goessel MB Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established at Tabor College, the American Cancer Society, and the church in Goessel.
