Marion board to learn results of superintendent search

Marion-Florence USD 408 met at 8 a.m. today (Wednesday) for an executive session to hear the results of the superintendent search committee.

Also on the agenda was action involving an unrelated personnel matter.

The committee was expected to recommend three to five individuals to be interviewed for the superintendent's position.

After board members hear the recommendations from the search committee, interviews will be scheduled.

Current USD 408 superintendent Gerry Henderson is retiring in June after spending six years at the helm.
