Marion Boosters plan for new school year
Marion Booster Club is open to all parents and patrons who want to help support high school students in their many extra-curricular activities.
Time and money are equally important and are used to show youth that the community supports them, organizers said. Volunteers are needed for most of the committees listed below. For more information, contact Dana Wear at 382-9168.
Officers are Dana Wear and Sharon Zogelman, co-chairmen; Neva Smith, secretary; and Diane Sams, treasurer.
Booster board representatives are Robin Richmond, freshmen; Sally Hannaford, sophomores; Pam Bowers and Kay Tajchman, juniors; and Brenda Rhodes, seniors.
Chairmen for football concessions are Jo Hett and Lori Kirkpatrick. Workers are Beth Watson, Nancy Fruechting, Sally Hannaford, Greta Smith, Kay Tajchman, Rex and Carolyn Savage, Cathy Whitaker, Shelli Hardey, Tracey Harper, Danette Eis, Cathy DeForest, and Nina Carr.
Special event (Sept. 21 bierrock sale) chairmen are Greta Smith and Rhonda Hett. Workers include Denise Matz, Laurie Secrest, Jo Hett, Carol Vogel, Janice Waner, Belinda Skiles, Louise Whiteman, Cindy Moore, Judy Steinborn, Mary Raleigh, Rhonda Conger, Angie Vinduska, Pat Chamberland, Lori Fruechting, Sharon Zogelman, and Dana Wear.
Homecoming tailgate party chairmen are Jandee Moore and Laura Williams. Workers are Neva Smith, Laurie Secrest, Dana and Steve Wear, Pat Chamberland, Ken Arnhold, Janice Waner, Cathy Whitaker, Tracey Harper, and Diane and Rodney Richmond.
