Marion takes fourth at state power-lifting tournament
Marion High School boys finished fourth March 16 at the Class 3A state meet, held at MHS.
The team finished with 21 points. Horton was first with 45.
Robert Verbic took first place in the 148-pound class, lifting a total of 860 pounds.
Results appear below. First place in each class is included, as are all who lifted a total of 1,000 pounds. The total is by adding together pounds raised from squat, bench, and clean positions.
