Marjorie Hunt
Marjorie M. Hunt, 87, Westphalia, died Jan. 13, 2003, at a hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Born Dec. 15, 1915, at Elmdale, she was the daughter of the late Fred O. and Nettie Frances (Harder) Pracht.
She grew up in the Elk community, graduated from Cottonwood Falls High School in 1936, and lived at Lincolnville before moving to Westphalia in 1942.
She married Keith Hunt on Nov. 16, 1947, at Garnett. He died March 6, 1982.
Survivors include lifelong friend Larry White who grew up in their home; brother, Wayne Pracht of Westphalia; sister, Merle Hawkins of Garnett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Farris-Feuerborn Chapel in Garnett. Burial will be in Garnett Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name with the Mont Ida Church of the Brethren.
