Markley receives pharmacy doctorate
Shawn Markley, a 1997 Marion High School graduate, received a doctor of pharmacy degree May 22 during commencement exercises at the University of Kansas.
Markley is the son of Darvin and Sue Markley of Marion, and has accepted a position with Osco Drug, Independence, Mo.
Guests in attendance for commencement were his parents, Carol James, Rick, Angela, and Brandon Lange, Lawanda Markley, Norman and Vivian Mueller, Mike and Erin O'Dell, Delano and Barbara O'Dell, and Max, Phillip, and Matt Williams.
