Martha Unruh
Martha Unruh, 81, died Nov. 18, 2003, at Montezuma.
Born Sept. 13, 1922, near Tampa, she was the daughter of Isaac and Rachel (Koehn) Dirks.
On March 21, 1948, she married Dayton Unruh near Tampa.
She was a homemaker and member of Morning Star Mennonite Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Byron Unruh; four brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Jane Unruh of Lehigh and Quentin and Diane Unruh of rural Canton; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Wanda and Larry Koehn of rural Durham, Starla and Richard Harms of Montezuma, and Carol Ann Unruh of Lehigh; a brother, Melvin Dirks of Lehigh; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Morning Star Mennonite Church, rural Tampa, with the Revs. Ransom Wiebe, Bruce Dirks, and Merlin Wiebe officiating.
Burial was in Logan Cemetery, rural Tampa.
A memorial fund was established with Morning Star Mennonite Church.
