MHS boys top Sacred Heart

Marion High School boys' basketball team topped Sacred Heart of Salina Dec. 20 with a score of 55-41.

The Warriors out-shot Salina dramatically from the field. Marion was 48 percent from two-point range, hitting 20 of 42, while Sacred Heart was only 10 of 30, scoring only 10 points in the first half.

The Knights did hit four of eight three-pointers. Marion didn't hit any, but didn't need to.

Keith Dudley was leading scorer with 12. Most of his points came from the line, where he hit eight of nine.

Braxton Skiles had 10 points.

The Warriors also out-rebounded Sacred Heart 31-18.
