MHS forensics team places first
Marion High School forensics team placed first Saturday at the Northern Heights Forensics Tournament.
Trevor Jones placed first in solo humorous. Tedra Eis was third.
Jones and Michael Brookens were first in duet acting. Jordan Timm and Elisa Gayle were fourth.
Timm and Gayle placed second in IDA.
Nicole Nelson was fifth in solo serious. Anda Malesau was sixth in prose. Jenna Parli was second in poetry.
Sasha Mikheyeva competed in the extemporaneous division.
The team will compete Saturday at Council Grove.
