MHS games, events rescheduled for Saturday, Tuesday
Marion High School basketball games and Queen of Courts crowning that were postponed Friday have been rescheduled.
The games will be played Saturday at the MHS gym. The boys' C team will play at 10 a.m., junior varsity girls at 11:30 a.m., varsity girls at 1 p.m., and varsity boys at 2:30 p.m.
The MHS junior varsity boys are scheduled to play in a tournament at Hillsboro, so they will not play Saturday in Marion.
A pep rally will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday followed with the Queen of Courts events during half-time of the Trinity Academy game at the MHS gym.
The queen and king of courts will reign over the winter homecoming dance from 9 p.m. to midnight, Feb. 21 in the MHS commons area.
The games and festivities were originally scheduled to take place during Friday's basketball game with Sacred Heart. However, blowing snow and declining road conditions led to the early dismissal of school and postponement of school activities.
