MHS scholarship seeks more funds

A scholarship to benefit Marion High School students was established three years ago by the Class of '39 on Old Settlers' Day 1999.

It is used to help MHS students who plan to go to college.

Only the interest earned from the fund is used each year. It is hoped that the fund will grow with additional gifts from class reunions and individuals.

At the present time, the fund has more than $6,000. More money is needed, due to low interest rates.

Donations may be sent to the MHS Alumni Scholarship, USD 408 Office, Marion.
