MHS Warriors defeat Hope, 54-49 years ago

MHS boys' basketball team defeated Hope, 54-49, Dec. 18.

Free throws were the difference. Marion hit 16 of 24 from the line compared to five of six by the Lions.

Braxton Skiles was leading scorer with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Robert Verbic scored 11.

Marion was up 35-29 going into the fourth quarter. The Warriors hit eight of 13 free throws to keep the game out of reach.
