MHS Wildcats defeat Centre
In a varsity match at Centre Junior High School Thursday, Marion defeated Centre in two games, with identical scores of Marion 15, Centre 9.
Jessica Deines led scoring for Centre with 6 total points. Other scorers included Megan Gutsch 3, Alyssa Luna 1, Alisha Barney 1, Chelsey Tajchman 3, and Brittany Owens, 4.
Centre B team fared better than the varsity, winning two out of three games with scores of 15-13, 10-15, and 15-9.
Three 10-minute C team games were played and Marion won all of them by scores of 11-8, 13-6, and 11-9.
