Museum needs photos of Marion
Marion Historical Museum director Cynthia Blount is encouraging Marion residents to share their historic photographs with the museum.
She is looking for those photographs, old and new, that tell the story of Marion, including businesses, street scenes, social and civic events, parades, disasters, people at work and play, and family gatherings.
Photos can be donated to the museum or copied while the owner waits. Photographs and copies will be added to the museum's archives and may be displayed periodically.
For more information, call Blount at 382-9134. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
