Natalie Carlson spends spring break in Mississippi
Natalie Carlson of Lincolnville traveled to Pascagoula, Miss., during spring break to assist with Hurricane Katrina disaster relief.
Carlson, a student at Southwestern College in Winfield, was among 35 Leadership Southwestern students who traveled to Mississippi. The students gutted homes, roofed, replaced insulation, sheetrocked, installed wooden and ceramic floors, scraped paint, built fence, and cleared debris. They completed the week with sightseeing in New Orleans.
