Nelson visits from Japan

Forrest and Marie Anderson accompanied Gary and Karen Korte of Emporia to Manhattan Wednesday to attend the Kansas State Choir presentation of "Testament of Freedom" with guest ensembles from Cowley College and Emporia High School. Their granddaughter, Erin Korte, is a member of the Emporia High School ensemble.

Mike and Linda Carlson entertained with a birthday dinner March 23 for Linda's mother, Dorothy Tressler of Herington. Other guests were Herb and Teresa Tressler of Paola and Charles and Arlene Carlson.

Mae Forsberg of Junction City visited Earl and Evelyn Forsberg Monday afternoon. Earl and Evelyn visited with Earl and Ruth Schump of Herington Tuesday evening.

Charles and Arlene Carlson visited Saturday afternoon with Kent and Jean Brunner of Lost Springs and Jill Brunner and Tucker of Manhattan.

Mary Deane Peterson, Nancy Hanson, and Evelyn Forsberg attended the Abilene Quilt Show Wednesday and also visited Marie Thornton at her home.

Forrest and Marie Anderson visited Norman Peterson at the Salina Regional Hospital Sunday afternoon. They also visited Goldie Steely at the Enterprise Estates.

Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove spent from Thursday night until Saturday with Earl and Evelyn Forsberg, returning home on Saturday.

Marvin Peterson, Eric and Josie of Lincolnville entertained with a Sunday dinner in honor of Scott's 15th birthday. Other guests were Shelly Crowder of McPherson, Ron and Jenny Schrader, Shae and Hunter of Wichita, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Burton of Hope, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Bret Beye, Cuyler and Chelsea of Herington, Mary Haefner of Lincolnville, Pastor John Gerry, Mr. and Mrs. Burdette Peterson, Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Peterson.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were Sunday dinner guests of Clinton and Diane Jost.

Mike and Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan were Sunday evening supper guests of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.
