Neo-Century Club has Hawaiian luau
Members of Neo-Century Club opened their first meeting of the year Sept. 11 with a Hawaiian luau at the home of Shirley Carlson.
Hostesses for the evening were the officers for the coming year: Marge Christensen, Shirley Carlson, Donna Fruechting, Kathy Goentzel, and the previous year's president, Margaret Tice.
The program for the evening was a hula demonstration by Gloria Ash. Members had a fun-filled evening learning to dance the hula and enjoying a delicious meal.
The next meeting will be a guest night Oct. 2 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion. Hostesses are Beth Collett, Arlene Bowers, and Joyce Duke.
