Nine Marion football players honored by CVL
Nine players from the 2003 Marion High School Warrior football team were named last week to the Cottonwood Valley All-League Football team last week.
Quarterback Clayton Chamberland received first-team honors.
Steven Boone was an all-CVL first-team fullback and line backer.
Neil Waner was the league's first-team center.
Tyler Smith received first-team honors as an offensive guard and linebacker.
Jimmy Shipman also received dual first-team honors as an offensive tackle and defensive lineman.
Dale Vogel was named to the second-team as an offensive tackle.
Tyler Stubenhofer received second-team honors as a wide receiver.
Tyson Heidebrecht received second-team honors as a defensive end.
Calvin Riggs was a second-team defensive back.
