Noller named senior vice president of Marion National Bank

Marion National Bank President Jim Hefley has announced the appointment of Don Noller as the bank's senior vice president. Noller began his new position Sept. 2 and is looking forward to meeting and working with current and new customers.

Noller brings more than 25 years of banking experience to Marion. He spent the last 20 years with The Lyon County State Bank in Emporia, starting out in the operations area of the bank and spending the past 13 years in lending.

He was very much involved with the Flint Hills Optimist Club in Emporia. He is a past president of the club and served several terms as a board member. Coaching various youth sports also kept Noller busy over the years.

Noller received his associate's degree in business from Lake Land College in Mattoon, Ill., then transferred to Wichita State University, where he continued to study business.

He has successfully completed the Intermediate School of Banking in Kansas City and the Commercial Lending School in Lincoln, Neb.

Don and his wife, Judy, were married Aug. 1. She is a high school math teacher. Don has a son, Zach, who is attending the University of Kansas, and a daughter, Kylie, who is a sophomore in high school.

Noller is a native of Wichita.
