Pat Sauble receives water conservationist award
The Kansas Wildlife Federation recently announced that Pat Sauble, Cedar Point, is winner of the 2007 water conservationist award.
Sauble, along with 11 other award recipients will be recognized at the annual meeting and conservation achievement program awards banquet Feb. 9 at the Clarion Inn in Manhattan.
Dan Mulhern, biologist with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, will entertain the group with a recount of the monumental effort to bring black-footed ferrets back to the Kansas plains.
