Pauline Madison
Pauline Marie Madison, 83, of Oxford, died Sept. 26, 2007.
The daughter of Frank and Emma (Bezdek) Makovec, she was born April 29, 1924, near Ramona.
She graduated from Ramona High School in 1941. During World War II, she worked for Coleman and Beech Aircraft at Wichita.
On July 12, 1948, she married Wesley Madison at Harrison, Ark. They lived at Wichita, and later moved to Colorado in 1960, then to Oxford in 1982.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley; and four brothers.
Survivors include her son, Brad Madison of Nederland, Colo.; sister, Irene Dunkleberger of Wichita; and two grandchildren.
The rosary was recited Monday evening at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Oxford.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday morning at St. John Nep. Church, Pilsen. Burial was in Pilsen Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
