Betty Ireland flew to Seattle, Wash., and spent five days visiting her sister, Mary Shillcutt and family in Issaquah, Wash.

Members and guests of the Florence United Methodist Church enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving supper Sunday evening. Pastor Mark and Nancy Moore presented a musical program. There were about 75 in attendance.
