Plunkett, Krug are married
Kelly Marie Plunkett and Brian Ray Krug were married May 19, 2006, at St. Mary's Cathedral, Wichita.
Parents of the bride are Barry and Janet Plunkett of Salina. The bride is the granddaughter of Phyllis Ragole of Marion and the late Joseph Ragole.
The groom's parents are Wayne and Lila Krug of Salina.
Fr. John Sherlock officiated at the six o'clock ceremony.
Music was provided by Carole Pracht, organist.
The bride wore a strapless champagne Italian matte satin gown featuring a beaded bodice accented with crystal beadwork and layered rows of horizontal pleats of satin at the waste. The back of the gown was adorned with buttons all the way down the chapel-length train. She wore a shimmering ivory elbow-length veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of champagne and ivory Sahara roses, calla lilies, and stephanotis.
Marci Peterson of Wichita was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were April Benoit and Joni Smith, both of Wichita. They wore strapless floor-length gowns of black satin with boning at the bodice for structure and a champagne sash and carried hand-tied bouquets of Sahara roses, sophie roses, and white hydrangea.
Kevin Bockwinkel of Shawnee served as best man. Groomsmen were Shane VanEaton of Elizabeth, Colo., and Jason Runnalls of El Dorado.
Guests were seated by the groom's brothers, Robert Krug of Tyrone, Okla., Mike Krug of Phoenix, Ariz., and the bride's brother, Chad Plunkett of Salina.
The couple hosted a reception, dinner, and dance at the Petroleum Club, Wichita, following the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Salina South High School and Wichita State University. She is a human resource manager for BSA Realty Management.
Her husband is a graduate of Oakley High School and Kansas State University-Salina. He is a pilot for Continental Express Airlines.
Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple lives in Wichita.
